Hello,
I'm trying to figure out the reason for a floating point exception error being returned after 3 iterations in my lesInterFoam model. The model works with one particular inlet velocity, but blows up when that velocity is reduced. It's a 2d duct with an inlet of which half is air and half is water. There are two exits, the idea being the water falls out of the lower, and the upper exit being defined as atmosphere. For inlet velocity of 2m/s a good result is produced. If I reduce the velocity to 0.5m/s then it blows up.

I'd be very grateful for any advice please!

How do I post case files here?

Thanks

gareth

Hi Gareth!

The case isn't downloadable (at least for me) and as I don't have any deeper experience with either LES or interFoam I wouldn't want to comment on it. But try compiling a debug-version (http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/HowTo_debugging) and the output of that might help you to find the problem
