Hello everyone,
I have got a problem. I'm trying to simulate porous media with different intake geometries. It is essential that the massflow is uniform on the whole inlet surface of the porous region.

In order to judge convergence I would like to monitor, on the inlet surface of the porous region, the cell with the maximum mass flow and the cell with the minimum mass flow.

The maximum and the minimum mass flow should then be divided and the simulation has to stop when the outcome is 1 or nearly 1, because then the massflow has to be nearly uniform on the whole inlet surface of the porous region.

I suppose that I have to write a new solver or modify the existing rhoPorousSimpleFoam Solver.

Has anyone been faced with a similar problem ?

Regards
