Hi Emilian. why dont you try rhe icoHeatFoam example given in the OpenFoamWiki:
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Ho...ure_to_icoFoam

just follow the script.

Transient heat transfer.

Hello everybody!
I am new to OpenFoam and Linux, I have just me a question:
which solver choice to study the transient heat transfer in the solid?
Thank you.

One of the biggest remaining problems is the mesh generation and conversion process because we would need fluid and solid meshes which match at the interface.

We would be happy to work in this field if we can find sponsors.

Hi Henry,

Can you help me to define regions in the LaplacianFoam. I want to add a volumetric heat source to specified points in the Mesh. How can I do this?

If that was possible, I'm very interested in it as well!

Thanks!
