Hi Guys, As my understand,

Hi Guys,

As my understand, an entire procedure always includes 5 parts, namely mesh generation, scheme (QUICK, UP-Wind Scheme), solution of algebriac equation (BiCG, ICCG), Algorithm (SIMPLE, PISO) and User. Could you introduce how to be constructed in every part? There are so many classes in every part. It is actually difficult to make them clear at a short time, so I would like to know that What are their relations between different class? And moreover, what is the relation between 5 parts?

I guess, somebody should have a series of entire industruction about the framework of these codes and classes --- glancing in the whole structure and detailed in every part. Could you help me to find out them?

Thank you very much!

Kind Regards,
Sandy

Have you tried all the tutoria

Have you tried all the tutorials described in the user guide ? Launching them and opening the various files describing the setup and results of your calculations might clear the picture for you, and it does not take too long.

Hi John,

Thanks for your help.

I have quickly finished to read the contents in the user's guide and programe' guide. I also tried several cases by the FoamX and paraFoam. However, It seems that I still can not clearly understand the entire framework of those original colds in OpenFoam? I will try again.

By the way, if you have more detailed industruction about those code, please copy to me.

Kind Regards,
Sandy

A document titled "Creational

A document titled "Creational Sequence of Objects in a Solver", Compiled by Jaswinder Pal Singh, should answered this question. Search the forum.
