Hi
I want to model tiny oil droplets in a gas flow. The gas carries the droplets and flows through a filter (that is a simple cell at the moment) with fibres in it. As soon as a droplet touches a fibre it should stick to the fibre. I insert the droplets using funkySetFields, which might not be the best way but the only one I could think of. Anyway, now I have to think of how I manage to make the liquid phase stick to the fibres. I don't think there's an easy way like just writing some command in the 0/gamma file, is there? I wonder if I have to change something in the code of the solver (which is interFoam), most likely in the gammaEqn.H file? Though, I don't have any idea how to do it yet. Has anybody some experience with this kind of droplet separation? Or any ideas concerning my problem? Cheers, Sara |
