Hi,

I'm trying to run an axisymmetric case (5º wedge) with rasCavitatingFoam and lesCavitatingFoam from OpenFOAM 1.5 and it doesn't work. I think the problem comes with the mesh, but this same mesh worked fine in OpenFOAM 1.4.

Since throttle3D (lesCavitatingFoam tutorial case) isn't axisymmetric, does anybody know if wedge patches aren't compatible with cavitation solvers in OpenFOAM 1.5?

Thank you

Marta

hy,

i am not sure about the wedges BUT there is an option in pEqn.H which removes the swirl for the wedge elements. This option is refering to a part of the fvsolution, especially the PISO-settings.
