Hello,

I want to convert this hex mesh to a tet mesh. Unluckly it is not clear to me how to do it with the things described in the User Guide.

I would be glad if you told me what to change (already tried changing hex to tet or different points but I just get errors when running blockMesh). BlockMeshDict see below.

Another thing is that icoFoam stops after about 15 oder 16 time steps because the residual and Courant number because extremely large when I change the mesh in y-direction from e.g 20(working) to 25 (or larger) though I also change the timesteps to fit CFL.
The case is a simple 2D flow from left to right.

vertices
(
(0 0 0)
(100 0 0)
(100 2 0)
(0 2 0)
(0 0 1)
(100 0 1)
(100 2 1)
(0 2 1)

);

blocks
(
hex 8(0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) (200 20 1) simpleGrading (1 1 1)
);

Thanks for helping a newbie =)

Have a nice day
