Hi all, I'm new to OpenFOAM

Hi all,

I'm new to OpenFOAM and CFD.
I'm working on a laser induced forward transfer of liquids, where I have a thin liquid film (on a foil) which is heated from the backside with a short laser pulse.
My first idea was to model an expanding gas bubble between the liquid layer and the foil, so I used the compressibleLesInterFoam solver. But as the dimensions are very small (some Ám), surface tension plays an important role and has to be considered.
Is there any (easy) way of adding compressibility to the surface-tension-considering interFoam solver?

Thanks in advance for your answers and ideas.

Dear Matthias Hofmann

did you success to modify interFoam by adding the compressibility factor?

could you please share with us your experience working with it?
