I am attempting to understand in the PISO loop for icoFoam, since I want to change this to a compressible flow, what the fvc::ddtPhiCorr(rUA, U, phi)
fvc::ddtPhiCorr(rUA, rho, U, phi) (for a compressible flow)
are actually doing? I have searched the post and found one:
which says: "a minor accuracy correction (div(U) or div(flux))"
but is there any further reference for this?
and the next line is:
adjustPhi(phi, U, p);
I know it has been discussed in several posts, my question is, should this be changed to:
adjustPhi(phi, rho*U, p);
for the compressible flow? Since for the incompressible flow, rho is a constant and then omitted. Can this still be found in Dr. Hrv's PhD thesis?
