I'm decomposing a tilted cavit

I'm decomposing a tilted cavity (drawn by x):

...xxxx
..x..x
.x..x
xxxx

I know how simple, metis and manual method is used but nothing about hierarchicalCoeffs. I want to decompose the domain with a cutting plane parallel to the tilted sides. Does any one know how hierarchicalCoeffs works or another way to do that. Thanks.

The 'delta' coefficient in hie

The 'delta' coefficient in hierarchical actually rotates the coordinates slightly (so an axis aligned mesh gets does not get a jagged decomposition). Have a look at the source and see whether you can use that / hack it so the coordinates are aligned with your plane.
