Hi all,

Does OF 1.4.1 have a three phase multiphase solver based on the Eulerian-Eulerian approach?

Hello Srinath,
there's is no Eulerian multi(>2)-phase solver in OpenFOAM at the moment.

Regards,
Alberto

Thanks Alberto.

Thanks Alberto.

Hi Srinath,

I remember that Silva et. al. (Prof. Lage, Universidade Federal do Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) described a solver-platform based on twoPhaseEulerFoam but for more than two fluids in a paper at OFIC'07.

Just have a look at "Implementation of an Eulerian Multi-phase model in OpenFOAM and its application to polidesperse two-phase flow" http://www.openfoam-conference.com/2..._SilvaLuiz.pdf .

My last information is that the whole solver will be published (OpenFOAM Wiki and Message Board) as soon as some papers are accepted. I would be interested, too. Please keep me informed...
