Hi foamers,
I am kind of a rookie foam user so forgive me for asking stupid questions. I am currently interested in incompressible fluid free surface flows. I would like to implement a wave generator based on a moving piston at one end of the domain mainly for test and validation purposes.I know there are other threads where free surface wave generation is discussed, however the generation approach seems to rely on special boundary conditions used to specify water elevation and velocities at the generator side according to linear or more complex wave theories. I realize that, in order to set up my wave generator, I will have to use a moving mesh and I am having really a hard time figuring out how it works. Does anyone have a simple example on how to use moving mesh with interFoam that I could use as a reference?
Thank you
