Hi all!
Let me elaborate:
I'm thinking about a solver implementing an algorithm like the "yosida" inexact algebraic factorization (my favourite), described for example in
"A. Quarteroni, F. Saleri, and A. Veneziani, Factorization methods for the numerical approximation of Navier–Stokes equations, Comput. Methods Appl. Mech. Engrg., 188
(2000), pp. 505–526"

or the classical algorithm described in
"J. Kim and P. Moin, Application of a fractional step method to incompressible Navier–Stokes
equations, J. Comput. Phys., 59 (1985), pp. 308–323".

I'm thinking about writing a solver myself, but before venturing on such a long and dangerous journey: I'd like to know if someone has already made it, and is perhaps willing to share his experience.
