Hello,
I am having a few problems initializing my solution when using 'non-default' boundaries; i am using a turbulentIntensityKineticEnergyInlet and a custom boundary (profile for U). In all these boundaries, there is a 'value' keyword, this value is used to initialize the flow. How can i use the correct boundary conditions (i.e. the profiles) to patch? One way would be to build a small application, but from what i have seen i do have to rewrite the profile parameters,... ideally i would just say, patch_using_boundaries() and U.write() and k.write(). I am generally using a variant of simpleFoam; but when using potentialFoam; i cannot get it to work properly because it doesnot pick up the 'complex boundaries' (not even this value keyword); and therefore U@inlet = 0, and nothing is solved. So i am looking for a way to patch my U,k and epsilon files (get these internalField nonuniform List<vector>,...) from original files. Regards, Nicolas |
