I have a scalar field for which I would like to set the gradient along the boundary condition at each time step.

The value of the gradient impacts the contact angle of the scalar field with the boundary, but the range of the scalar values is different then what I would assume the gammaContactAngle boundary condition was designed for. (I am assuming the existing boundary condition is for a scalar value ranging from 0 to 1, whereas the one I am working with ranges from ~0.264 to ~0.404).

In order to complete the calculation I am looking for, I need to do the following:

1)Determine which of the boundary conditions are of the type that I wish to set the gradient for

2) interpolate the values of the scalar field to the boundary faces and solve an expression describing the gradient with respect to the value of the scalar field.

3) Set the value of the gradient in each face of the boundary to the value calculated in step 2.

Would someone have an example where they have done this that they would be willing to share? or is there a resource describing how I might go about doing this.

Thank you,

Adam
