losiola is on a distinguished road
Hey guys,
I am trying to make a 2D airfoil simulation following the wingmotion tutorial for the pimpleFoam.
the tutorial can be found in $FOAM_TUTORIALS/incompresible/pimpleFoam/RAS/wingMotion.

Anyways,
i want to calculate the Cl and Cd and the lift and drag forces during the run of the simulation and also i want to calculate Friction coeffi .

One more thing. I have been reading documents and i ve found that i must respect a certain value of Y+ .
1/-How can i calculate Yplus during the simulation ?
2/-Does the Yplus has impact on a steady state simulation (simpleFoam) or it only affects Transient simulation like (pimpleFoam 2D airfoil Simulation)

Thank you for your help .
