Hello,

Is there somebody who could explain the implemented boundary conditions for buoyant flow to me?

I would like to compute flow through a channel or tube (buoyantFoam or buoyantSimpleFoam) and I am not quite sure which boundary conditions are appropriate.

What exactly does fixedFluxBuoyantPressure do? I assume it would extrapolate the pressure from the field to the boundary - taking into account the gradient due to gravity. Is this correct? What exactly is the value that has to be specified?

For inlet and outlet conditions conditions I am a bit stuck on what to use. My experiments so far ended in either a blow-up or completely useless results.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi,
I dont know the mean buoyantpressure and fixedFluxBuoyantPressure either, did you figure it out?
