I'm studing 2D viscous turbulence flow on NACA 0012 airfoil and I don't know how activate or not wall functions (perhaps is the role of the word "WALL" in ~/constant/polyMesh/boundary?).

What are the boudaries conditions for k, epsilon or omega on airfoil and when I use or not wall functions?

How can I resolve transition from laminar to turbulence flow (fortunately I know transition point by Xfoil)?

I'm interested in the answer to this as well. In fact, it seems that 2D airfoil studies are so common that there ought to be a case in the tutorials that come with the OpenFOAM installation for both laminar and turbulent airfoil studies. Is there a reason such cases are not included in the tutorials, or who could I contact to submit such a case once I have it working?

Thanks.
