Hi,

I've got a channel with a fixed velocity inlet and fixed pressure at outlet.

What BC is correct to choose for pressure at the inlet if I dont know the actual pressure value? It is set to zeroGradient by default but it doesnt seem physicaly correct. While runing my case I get "time step continuity errors" which i guess is caused by this.

Thanks
/Erik

Hi,

okay for so far. The next error message after starting the time loop is:
--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR : file "inlet.dat" does not exist

Where does the inlet.dat have to be?
I've tried it in "case/0/", in "/derivedFvPatchFields/timeVaryingUniformFixedValue" and in "/solvers/icoFoam".

Can someone please help me?
Thanks
Anja
