Dear all,

has anybody experience with a steady-state solver for the Euler equations? I'm really new to Openfoam and I would like te solve the steady 2D Euler equations iteratively, but I can't find a suitable standard solver. Therefore I'm thinking about adapting the rhoSonicFoam code from time-marching to iterative... but it is hard to judge whether I will encouter many problems by doing so and I can't find any directions how to do this. Any suggestions?

Kind regards, Jelmer

As far as I can see, I have to add a newton-type linearisation myself or people tend to apply the Simple method to compressible flow... is that the best way to go in Openfoam?
