hello,

i have converted a model from STAR to OpenFOAM. The turbulent kinetic energy and the energy dissipation are assigned from STAR to the variables Te and Ed. In contrast to it OpenFOAM assignes k and epsilon also as turbulent kinetic energy and energy dissipation. They are same labeled in both programs but is there any difference about it? Someone has told me that there ist perhaps a difference and thus Te and Ed are calculated from k an epsilon. If yes, how can i compare them? Is it possible to write out the same in both programs? thanks ahead for all answers.

regards

Michael
