sprayFoam in openfoam9??

Hello, in openfoam 8 there is the solver "sprayFoam" that could be used for simulating the injection of gasoline and its mixing with the surrounding air before / after the throttle valve. I saw that in openfoam 9 there is no more. Is there a solver that can solve the same problem (maybe particleFoam) or is it better to stick with sprayFoam in openfoam 8?

Hello,
I'm not experienced with these solvers, but it seems sprayFoam capabilities have been included in reactingFoam. Have a look at the "Flow switches" section here: https://cfd.direct/openfoam/free-sof...s-constraints/ Cheers, Yann |
