OpenFOAM is working for this

Hi!I am new for the OF. Using OpenFOAM it is possible to solve the following problem? I need to simulate liquid flow during a process of pumping from open reservoir (like a lagoon). A liquid is a homogenous viscous waste similar to highly viscous oil.

Can you assume the flyuid to be Newtonian? If not do you have an appropriate non-Newtonian viscosity model?

Yes, I assume that the fluid is Newtonian.

I am not sure of the details of your case but I am pretty sure standard OpenFOAM solvers will cover it.
