Creating a Patch in the domain

Hello

I have a nozzle flow and I would like to patch some distance (say x ) from the nozzle inlet with the liquid to save some computational time. where should i indicate the patch of gamma = 1(ie liquid region) in the case file ? I was able to notice the planetopatchdict but not sure how should i patch my liquid in the domain.

Have a look at the setDamBreak in the damBreak tutorial: you write a little application (just like the one I've mentioned) and set up the initial condition for gamma in any way you like.
