Hi,

for heat transfer problems, i have used untill now two types of boundary conditions for the temperature: imposed value or imposed gradient.

Actually, i would like to impose a heat transfer coefficient which would be used to calculate the heat flux, based on a exterior temperature for example. The heat flux at the boundary would depend on the temperature calculation at the boundary. This can be a more realistic boundary condition for some cases.

Is there something in OpenFoam to do that?

Thank you

Hi all,

me again....

Is the boundary condition wallHeatFlux from version 1.3 (i think) still available in OpenFOAM 1.4 or 1.5? If not, what replaces it?

Thank you
