Rotating walll bc in 1.5

I am looking for an rotating wall bc for 1.5. First sight was that "addswirlandrotation" may do it, however it has some drawbacks why I cannot use it:

rotation axis must be parallel to a main rotation axis (not the case for me)
edits my patches of type "ggi" in 0/U to have same velocity than far field

So I found an old thread: http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D...es/1/4473.html

howver these tools are pretty old. Has anybody tried building them with 1.5? Further suggestions?

Hi,

rotationBC tool compiles and runs without problems under OF-1.5. I tried.

Thanks Kerstin,

I will give it a try. It looks better than addSwirlandRotation for me. It also uses the same conventions than the MRF-Dicts. Maybe this could be included into addSwirlandRotation?
