Hi Foamers,

I've a problem when running a turbulence simulation using a LRR model (simpleFoam solvers for a steady state 2D problem). After few time steps the time step continuity error grows up and the number of iteration for the pressure grows too. The problem is the 'classical' turbulence test case: a backward facing step flow at high reynolds number (300000 based on inlet height). I tried to inizialize the solution using a solution after 100 time step of k-e model (that converge correctly), but the problem still remain. The problem is on the pressure. I used a DIC scheme for pressure. The mesh is a simple mesh generated with blockMesh.

For the boundary conditions I used the notorious relations for k and epsilon at the inlet. At the wall, for according with wall functions, I used zerogradient. I inizialized R with the built-in utility in OpenFoam for the 100th time step.

Thanks a lot
