gradient(gamma) at centerline? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

dany New Member Daniel Heidorn Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Graz,Austria Posts: 3 Rep Power: 16	Dear OF's i have a question concerning how OF calculates fvc::grad(gamma) in the cells connected to the centerline on a "cylindrical mesh". With the Gauss linear Scheme the gradient is calculated by summing up gamma_face*face_area, but how does OF cope with the gradient at this mentioned cells where one face per cell (the centerline) has no surface?
