Hypersonic with OpenFOAM
 

Hi !

First, I'm completely new with OpenFOAM.
I have to study it's possibilities in the area of hypersonic CFD. So here are my questions :
Does OpenFOAM have a built-in tool to handle hypersonic flows?
Has any public work been done on the subject? (I found some clues on this forum but nothing conclusive)

What Mach number regime do you want to simulate?

depending on this, what phenomenon (chemical reaction, vibration, radiation etc) of hypersonic flow do you have to model?
