Postprocessing: how to change the legend names?

Hello everybody,

does anyone know how to change the names of the volume fileds in the xy-plot? i have a fiew cases and i would like to image every temperature field in one plot. i managed that. so, i would like now to specify each temperatrure with a different name.

Try to change the name in the Color Scale Editor.
It is the second button in the second row.
Is that what you were searching for?

Thanks you for your help.
that was not quite what i was looking for. in the 'Color Scale Editor' it's possible to change the name of the color bar. if i am doing that the leged of the xy plot is still the original one.

Hi,

You could use the 'sample' utility to sample your data along a line of interest,
the data can then be plotted with your third-party software of choice such as excel/gnuplot/xmgrace.
