Spalart Allmaras detached-eddy simulation
 

Greetings:

It is clear that OpenFOAM is setup to run DES simulations however I cannot find a sample tutorial to begin working off of. Does anyone have something for this or can point me in the right direction in order to initialize this method?

The newest openfoam release (2.1.0) has a DES tutorial. I have not run it yet myself:
