Why do most of the compressible solvers diverge at flows > Ma 5?
 
I am trying to model a cone in a supersonic flow field, I have attached an image of my mesh for information.

I have tried to model this situation with an inlet Mach number of Ma = 7, but every solver I try diverges at these flight conditions. Below are some images from sonicFoam (ras turblence) and rhopSonicFoam (inviscid) respectively.

Why do these diverge at flows greater than Ma = 5? Can anyone help me out here please?
