Help me to solve a basic heat transfer problem

:):hello FOAMers

i want solve a canal and obtain temperature contour for its solid container. convective heat transfer is internally (Forced) and externally (Natural) exists.

i produced mesh as standard OpenFOAM format.

I know i should use laplacianFoam of basic dir. BUT i don't know how should i solve this problem.

Best

I suppose you meshed only the container (what is that exactly to you?) because this is all you are interested in?
Than you should use convective boundary conditions on both sides.

Thanks.
Yes i've meshed the solid container of canal. my problem is what changes should i do on run/tutorials/basic/laplacianFoam dir to achieve a solution for my desired canal problem. i am new and it is my first FOAMing.:)

Well, as mentioned above you should change the boundary conditions.
Make yourself comfortable with heat transfer, so you can decide which condition suits your problem best: http://web.mit.edu/lienhard/www/ahtt.html

Changing the boundary conditions you should be able to do, once you have read the User Guide.
