interFoam vs interPhaseChangeFoam?
Dear OpenFOAMers:
Can someone explain the difference between interFoam and interPhaseChangeFoam? Thanks! Pei |
Quote from the User Manual:
interFoam: Solver for 2 incompressible, isothermal immiscible fluids using a VOF (volume of fluid) phase-fraction based interface capturing approach interPhaceChangeFoam: Solver for 2 incompressible, isothermal immiscible fluids with phase-change (e.g. cavitation). Uses a VOF (volume of fluid) phase-fraction based interface capturing approach |

Hello.
I transform Saur model to Zwart model successfully but transforming Saur model to Singhal model is faild!!! my error is : phaseChangeTwoPhaseMixtures/phaseChangeTwoPhaseMixture/phaseChangeTwoPhaseMixture.C:48: error: no matching function for call to ‘Foam::dimensioned<double>::dimensioned()’ Can you help me??? :( |
Hi Vahid,
Which version of OP do you use? |

Hi,I used OpenFoam 2.0.1 for solver interPhasechangeFoam.

Hi Vahid,
I have not tried 2.0.1. I have used OF2.1 & OF2.2 and I was not successful to simulate cavitation with either of them. However, I tried OF1.5, and It worked! So, I wanna know that whether others have encountered the same problem. Thanks for your reply. In the case that you try OF2.1 or higher version, please let me know about the results. ABE |
