Question on mass flow BC

If I am defining a fixed mass or volumetric flow rate on a simulation that uses wedge symmetry, do I define the fraction of flow rate for the cross section that I have modeled or the mass flow rate for the entire model? Thanks!

the flow rate is calculated with the modeled cross section, hence a isosceles triangle with opening angle of 5°.

cheers,
aram

Thank you! So just to be clear (to make sure I understand) if I were doing pipe flow, and I wanted a mass flow of 100kg/sec at the inlet of the whole pipe I would only put 5kg/sec for the inlet at the wedge?
