Hello FOAMers,

I am doing some work on turbulent channel flow. Reynoldssnumbers are 3750 and 5000.

So, i guess, the standard k-epsilon-modell is not valid for such low Re-numbers.
Now I want to usw a lowRE-modell, i.e. LauderSharmaKE. Or would you suggest k-omega or k-omega-sst?
I read that I need a y+-value less <<1.
When I usw the yPlusRAS-Function I get the values, y_min and y_max and y_mean:
So whats the meaning of these parameters? and should be y_min and y_max less than 1??

Thanks in advance,

Michel
