Hii,

I'm new to OF, and would like to know how can I set up a new problem from a grid generated by ICEM. Presently I have been using meshes generated with blockmesh. So what should I do to supply the solver with my new grid, and also apply the neccessary BCs.

Thanks,
Tarak

I'm not an expert, but I think the way to do it is export the ICEM mesh in FLUENT format and then use fluentMeshToFoam / fluent3DMeshToFoam to convert it to OpenFoam.

Hii,

Thanks for the reply. Actually what you mentioned is to be done for sure, but can you please let me know in which folder to place the meshfile to run the solver using it?

Thanks,
Tarak
