Pressure drop across two surfaces
 
Hi,

I have two surfaces across which I have to define pressure drop with following constaints:
1) Pressure drop to be specified as a function of velocity
2) The velocity existing from the second surface needs to be perpendicular to the surface

Can anybody help me with this?

Maybe you can look at the fan BC, where the delta pressure is a function of velocity, but this value is simply added to the pressure value from one face to the other, thus it does not take into account the direction. But is a good point to start with. You can find more information on the following thread: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...e-bc-of15.html It applies to 1.6, 1.6.x, and 1.7.1 as well.
