Dear Foamers,

I don't manage to run OpenFOAM cases with several machines on Ubuntu. I use OF 1.7.1 and tried on Ubuntu 64 and 32. Openfoam is installed on both machines. I can run the cases on both machines independently , but when I try to start the MPI with the hostfile-option:
mpirun --hostfile machines -np 2 chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam -parallel

I always receive the message that the executable is not found on the second machine.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
mpirun was unable to launch the specified application as it could not find an executable:

Executable: chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam
Node: 192.168.178.50

while attempting to start process rank 0.

I think I tried meanwhile all options: To start the case with foamJob or foamExec but nothing helps. None of the executables is found. I managed to run cases using Suse, but not for Ubuntu.
I would appreciate any suggestions very much!
