Hello Foamers,

I'm searching for a tool to calculate pressure differences between two or more eligible areas in the flow (Mainly two areas). So not only for inlet and outlet, but also for other interesting areas like a pile-up ahead of a barrier.

Has anyone a solution for me?

Thanks in advance.
Bernhard

Hi,

If that area consist of boundary patch, you can use patchAverage for all area,
then calculate difference by hand. And If that area is non-patch arbitrary cut surface,
you would use paraview's filter function "Integrate Variables".

Hi Ohbuchi,

thank you very much for your quick and helpful answer. Both ways work wonderfully!

Have a good weekend.

Hi Ohbuchi and Bernhard,

Can you explain how to use 'IntegrateVariables' in paraview to calculate the pressure difference. I used it, but it does not seem to generate the correct values.
