OpenFOAM for building application

Hi everyone,

I plan to do a simulation of wind around a simple building with OpenFOAM. A Spallart turbulence model will be used and I need to enter turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer at the inlet (I have, from experiment: speed,k and l function of the position).

Which solver do i need to use. How to enter my turbulent atmospheric boundary layer? From which tutorial case can I start? Does someone know where can I find informations about my case?

Thanks for reading me,

Probably simpleWindFoam in OpenFOAM 1.7.x is the best option.

You should try it and look for the tubineSitting Tutorial
