Hey Foamers

I need a little guidance with the numerical schemes for the convection term:

I'm solving Turbulent flow past a cube in a channel using LES models and used Upwind and QUICK schemes, however they are very dissipative. Has anyone used kinetic energy conservative schemes in OF?

thanks in advance.

For LES, the recommended scheme is "linear" (or a higher-order central scheme). Of course you need a mesh that satisfies the stability criterion of this scheme.

Best,
