specifying U components as boundary condition

I want to specify different boundary conditions for Ux, Uy and Uz

fixed value : 0 for Uy and Uz
zeroGradient : Ux

How I can do that? Can anyone please help! (sorry,I could not find ans. for the older posts)

i guess what you are looking for is the 'slip' condition

see http://www.openfoam.com/docs/user/boundaries.php

@ gregor,

The slip boundary condition does the opposite way.

For a patch parallel to yz -plane,

Instead of making Uy,Uz = 0 it makes Ux=0
Instead of zeroGradient at Ux it makes Uy,Uz zeroGradient.

After going through, the user guide what I understood is pressureInletVelcoity
looks similar to what I want. But I don't know if it works when total Pressure is specified.
