inlet conditions for multiphase problems
hi. i do have problems in a case concerning the inlet in a multiphase problem.

in my case, i have a droplet of phase2 sitting on a surface. on this surface i have a smaller patch with an inlet BC to inject more fluid of phase2 into the droplet. i simply edited the files 'alpha1' and 'U' this way:


type constantAlphaContactAngle;
theta0 105;
limit gradient;
value uniform 1;

type fixedValue;
value uniform (0 0 0.005);
and this works perfectly for a certain amount of time. but when the droplet is getting really large, the inlet is not inserting pure phase2 fluid anymore but a mixture of phase 1 and 2 instead.

does anybody know how to force the inlet to inject phase2 during the hole simulation time?

it seems like this problem is just appearing for constantAlphaContactAngle. with dynamicAlphaContactAngle i do not have this phenomena.

Use constant pressure at the inlet instead of constant velocity.
