Hi dear foamers,
I'm running a simple 2D subsonic divergent duct.
According to the Gas Dynamics, Velocity decreases, and Pressure increases while the cross sectional area increases. But when IcoFoam runs, velocity decreases but Pressure decreases.
The result are shown in attachment. So I try to change boundary conditions in pressure boundary field, but didn't work. So can u give me some advise to get correct one?

BC are Inlet, Outlet, Wall and Symmentry.
Velocity
boundaryField
{
Inlet
{
type fixedValue;
value uniform (5 0 0);
}
Outlet
{
type zeroGradient;
}
Wall
{
type fixedValue;
value uniform (0 0 0);
}
Symmetry
{
type symmetryPlane;
}
}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For pressure

boundaryField
{
Inlet
{
type zeroGradient;
}
Outlet
{
type fixedValue;
value uniform 0;
}
Wall
{
type zeroGradient;
}
Symmetry
{
type symmetryPlane;
}
}
