Dear Foamers,

I'm currently running a case with buoyantPimpleFoam involving variable density in a closed geometry. I'm getting gradually increasing continuity errors in my simulations, and introducing larger density differences makes the problem even worse. So far this hasn't led to my simulations crashing, but I expect this to happen in the near future (as I will be working with even larger density differences and longer runs).

Is there anything I can do with regards to tolerances or relaxation factors? My fvSolution is as follows:

Code:
solvers
{
    "rho.*"
    {
        solver          PCG;
        preconditioner  DIC;
        tolerance       0;
        relTol          0;
    }

    p_rgh
    {
        solver          PCG;
        preconditioner  DIC;
        tolerance       1e-5;
        relTol          0.001;
    }

    p_rghFinal
    {
        $p_rgh;
        relTol          0;
    }

    "(U|h|e|k|epsilon|R)"
    {
        solver          PBiCG;
        preconditioner  DILU;
        tolerance       1e-6;
        relTol          0.1;
    }

    "(U|h|e|k|epsilon|R)Final"
    {
        $U;
        relTol          0;
    }
}

PIMPLE
{
    momentumPredictor yes;
    nOuterCorrectors 1;
    nCorrectors     2;
    nNonOrthogonalCorrectors 0;
}
Many thanks in advance!
