Hello!

My name is Dave Toth, and I am new on these forums. To say the truth, I can describe what is aerodynamics and turbulence, as I am a transport designer, but I am totally noob with any CFD software, that is why I am asking you for help. I am doing a graphical project at the moment, and I´d like to know if there is an easy, simple program that can draw streamlines around some objects.

Here is an explanation of the idea:

I got a few objects /12 cars/, and I want to arrange them in some space, and create a flow from left to right, so there will be streamlines around them. I don´t need them physically accurate or something, just it would be good if I could edit the amount (density) of streamlines or something.

And here is a qucik idea sketch of what I would like to achieve:

Sorry for my English, and if I posted in a wrong section, any help I greatly appreciate.

Dave

I think you would need a case to be solved and then you could generate whatever streamlines you need in paraview…
If it's not a too complicated case I would't mind solving it for you and then send it so that you can generate the streamlines and take your pictures.

There's also this app for the iPad/iPhone which could do the job…

What does the "case" means exactly? Can I get in touch with you?
