Dear all,

I have just started to use OpenFoam 1.4.1 and I have to use Run-time Post-processing functions.

More precisely I have to use the "SampligLine" function.

But, I have tried and I have this error message:

************************************************** *******

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR : Unknown functiont type samplingLine

Valid functions are :

1
(
probes
)

************************************************** ******

I guess that the "SampligLine" function is not activated, so I tried to do that in /OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/src/sampling/ by typing wmake.

It does not work... Does somebody have an idea of what I can do to solve my problem?

Thank you very much

Regards

Franck

Greetings Franck and welcome to the forum!

OpenFOAM 1.4.1? The latest is OpenFOAM 2.1.1! Any reason in particular why you're using such an old version?

Either way, since I don't have an OpenFOAM 1.4.1 build handy, here's a few tips:
Best regards,
Bruno
