Good day to the OpenFOAM forum posters. I ran into a problem pertaining to the correct way of prescribing velocity and pressure boundary conditions for a turbulent mixed convection boundary layer flow over a vertically heated flat plate. I think the issue might be the way the inlet pressure BCs is defined, but I have not found any solution that works. The goal is to feed a uniform velocity of 1 m/s in the vertical direction. The simulation diverges after a few seconds. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Deji

So there's no one that can give me any feedback on this problem?
