About moveDynamicMesh
Dear Foamers,
I have seen a fantastic feature of Fluent. The mesh motion is possible through an automatice re-meshing. Let's say, for example, that I wanna open a door. I create a single mesh and then launch the simulation and the software first strech the cells and then - when the skewness reaches a certain values - the solver itself do a remeshing. Is there something similar in OF? Or we have only a tool that stretch the mesh? Thanks a lot, Samuele |

That's nice.
How does this work? Is it downloadable? Can you help? I can be a good tester :).. Thanks, Samuele |
The non-parallel bits are already part of OpenFOAM-extend.
With parallel functionality, you'll have to check it out from the repository. Installation instructions are here: https://github.com/smenon/dynamicTop...er/Install.txt I believe Kyle Mooney has already prepared documents / presentations on usage of the class at the recent OpenFOAM workshop, so if you go through the archives, you should find them there. |
Can I share my case in order to understand if someone can help?
How can I do this? |
